Overall if I had to rate this book I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Parts of it were really slow; I honestly didn't get into it until the middle-last sections. It was worth reading for me however; I wanted to read it before I saw the movie, and now I am able to watch it! I hope it isn't too different... anyways... TLO had a good plot and story line and was pretty easy to keep up with. At first I thought I would be confused by the point of view changing between Thibault, Beth and Keith in each chapter, but as the story went on it made it useful to hear all of their POVs. like I somewhat already mentioned, the beginning was a little slow and I have to say I was kind of confused. But just like most stories, as the book progressed, the story got better.
I highly recommend The Lucky One to anyone who likes other Nicholas Sparks novels.

This sounds like a really good book.
ReplyDeleteI read this book and I absolutely loved it. I am so glad you really liked it. Nicholas is a great author and I think you would enjoy more of his books if you read them
ReplyDeleteHow do you think the book will be compared to the movie?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved this book! I felt the same way when reading the end of the book because it got so intense and I couldn't put it down! The Choice is kind of the same way in the end and I loved that book too (just try not to cry like I did in the middle/end) I hope you also like The Choice by him you probably will because you like all of his other books!
ReplyDeletehave you seen the movie? if so do you think it was similar to the book?
