The Lucky One- predictions

I just began reading 'The Lucky One' by Nicholas Sparks.  I am only on chapter three, but so far a lot is going on.  Each chapter is told from a different character's perspective, and they all have different stories.  One is a cop who does some things a cop shouldn't do, and there is a hippie who has walked across most of the country in search of someone he has never known, and then there is a divorced mother who just wants the best for her son and nana.  Obviously these characters are very different yet i think something will bring them together at some point, maybe some type of problem.  I have always liked Nicholas Sparks books, so I know that i will enjoy this.  I like how the characters are being dscribed and portrayed, and i think these things help the reader to imagine and predict what the characters may be like.  This story will probably turn in to a complicated or tragic love story, from my experience reading Sparks books that is a pretty accurate prediction.  I definetly think I will enjoy this book!

  1. I read this book last year and loved it! It sometimes got confusing with all the different perspectives, but overall I really liked it. I totally agree with the part about the cop doing stuff a cop shouldn't do. I hated his character, but loved the hippie, mom, and boy.

  2. I am reading the same book as you and I just finished chapter two. I'm to sure how I feel about Thibault yet because his life story seems a little far fetched. But I'm excited to see how the picture will help him later on i the story. I'm not a big fan of having each character a chapter but I think it suits this book well!

  3. I have never heard about this book but it seems really interesting! I have read other Nicholas Spark books and I really enjoy him as an author. I recently read Safe Haven and then saw the movie which was almost dead on the book! I love his writing maybe I'll read this book next.

  4. How do you feel that this book compares to the other Nicholas Sparks books? Do you like it more..or the same? Also, does the three perspectives confuse you because I have read a book like that and it really confused me.

  5. I have read this book before and I really enjoyed it. While your reading this book I hope you can enjoy as much as I did. I would also like to tell you that this is not Nicholas Sparks best book but it is pretty far up there.
